25+ Perfect Travel Gifts for the Frequent Traveler on Your Christmas List ✈️🎁

If there’s a travel lover on your holiday shopping list, here are the best travel gifts any road warrior will love (& they’re all on Amazon!).
Shopping for the travel lover in your life can be tricky—after all, how do you choose a gift for someone who’s always on the go? Especially if you’re not an experienced traveler yourself.
Not to worry, that’s where I come in!
After visiting more than 175 countries across all seven continents (yes, even Antarctica!), I know firsthand what travelers actually use and love.
In this guide, I’ve rounded up 25 of the most thoughtful and practical gifts that any jet-setter will appreciate. And I know they’ll love them because I personally own and use all of the items below.
Note: This post may contain affiliate links. If you choose to book through these links, I receive a small commission, which I will undoubtedly blow on more flights (it’s a vicious cycle). All of this internet voodoo takes place at no additional cost to you.
I’ve included items of varying price points, so you’re covered whether you’re looking for a luxury item or an affordable gift idea. And since ease matters when it comes to holiday shopping, every single item is available on Amazon.
(And yes, as an Amazon affiliate, I do earn a small commission to help support this site when you make a purchase through one of the links below!)
Whether you’re shopping for a friend, family member, or even yourself (no judgment here), this list is full of ideas. These gift ideas will spark wanderlust, make long flights more comfortable, and come in handy on the road.
Before the Trip: Planning & Inspiration 🗺️📍
For many travelers, the excitement begins long before the plane takes off. These gift ideas are all about inspiring the next adventure and helping with the planning process.
In this section, I’ll also include a few general gift ideas that any traveler will love!
1. LEADO Candle “She’s Planning Another Trip”

Nothing says trip planning inspiration like the scent of this lavender candle. If you’re looking for a fun gift idea for the female globetrotter who has it all, this is a great pick.
2. Leather Passport Holder Wallet with RFID Blocking

For all that globe-trotting, an RFID blocking wallet is a savvy gift. Stylish and secure, it shields credit cards from skimmers, adding an essential layer of protection.
Available in sleek designs and various materials, these wallets blend functionality with fashion, turning security into a style statement.
3. Clever Fox Travel Journal & Travel Planner Organizer

The Clever Fox Travel Planner Organizer is the perfect gift for the traveler looking to build their Travel Bucket List and plan the trip of a lifetime around the world. It includes sections for planning your itinerary and budget, safety tips, helpful travel info, common phrase translations, and even a packing list.
In addition to the travel planner, a leather-bound travel journal is a terrific gift for frequent travelers who like to document their travels in a more personal way.
Two of my favorite travel journals are the Lined Journal Notebook (pictured in red above) and the Page-A-Day Artisan Travel Journal (pictured in tan above). Just $10 on Amazon for either one.
4. Seasons Comfort 100% Cashmere Wrap

Nothing says travel luxury quite like a cashmere wrap. It’s the perfect cozy companion for the airplane and looks stylish throughout your trip. When fall comes around, I take mine everyone.
There are plenty of options in this category but mine is the Season’s Comfort wrap in the color “grey foy.” It literally goes with everything. If there’s a woman on your holiday shopping list who loves to travel, this is the ultimate gift.
5. Vintage Travel Stamp & Other Fun Personalized Luggage Tags

Personalized luggage tags are a great way to express yourself when you travel. They also make a fun, budget-friendly gift idea for travelers. There are SO many options to choose from in this category.
Two of my favorites are the Vintage Travel Stamp luggage tags (pictured on the left) and these Personalized Luggage Tags that come in a variety of styles and colors (the pink one pictured on the right is my favorite option). Both come in a set of two and add a little glam to a plain old boring suitcase.
6. Natural Amazonite Stone Compass Bracelet

This natural stone bracelet with a silver compass makes a sweet and affordable gift for the globetrotter in your life.
7. Airplane Sideways Choker Necklace

This sterling silver airplane necklace is a great gift for the woman in your life who’s really going places. This silver chain is 15″ and adjustable up to +3″ so it can be worn as a choker necklace or a normal necklace.
It’s an elegant, yet affordable, gift and I always get compliments on mine when I wear it.
8. Vlando Travel Jewelry Case

I don’t typically travel with much jewelry and that’s what I love about this travel jewelry organizer by Vlando. When I’m just travelling with a few key pieces, I can take out 2 or 3 of the small pouches and just travel with those.
For a longer trip, when I may bring more options, I often pack the whole thing.
On the Plane ✈️
From red-eye flights to long-haul journeys, time in the air can be rough. These gifts will help transform even the most cramped flight into a more luxurious travel experience.
9. Ostrichpillow Go Neck Pillow

I don’t sleep on planes because I just can’t manage any sleep sitting up. My husband is the opposite, he can sleep anywhere. But the one travel pillow we both love is the Ostrichpillow.
The unique ergonomic design gives your head 360-degree support and the memory foam material is soft and comfortable. I also love the removable cover for easy washing between trips.
And though it seems huge when you’re wearing it, it compresses to 60% of its size and packs neatly into a black drawstring bag with a D-ring so it’s easy to attach to your bag.
10. Bose QuietComfort Ultra Bluetooth Earbuds + AirFly

When it comes to enjoying a little peace and quiet on an airplane, this is my dream team. If you’re looking to splurge a little on your favorite traveler, these are a great option.
First up, the Bose earbuds. Noise cancelling headphones are a must for any frequent traveler. But as someone who only travels carry-on, big headphones just take up too much space in my bag. That’s why I love the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Bluetooth Earbuds.
They’re tiny, yet they fit snugly and comfortably in my ears. And while they aren’t quite as effective at reducing noise as the over-the-ear style, I find the tradeoff in size well worth the small sacrifice in noise reduction.
Say goodbye to tangled cords tethering you to the seat back in front of you when you want to watch a movie on the plane. The AirFly Bluetooth Wireless Audio Transmitter Adapter connects your Bose earbuds or AirPods to the plane’s entertainment system wirelessly.
11. DROWSY Silk Sleep Mask

I know some travelers swear by a good sleep mask but I freely admit I’ve never been much of a sleep mask person. I just don’t like sleeping with something on my head. The DROWSY sleep mask changed my mind. It really is that good.
It truly does block out all light and feels soft and luxurious on my face. The only downside for travelers is the size, it is pretty thick (which is what makes it so great for sleeping). I’ve gotten to where I use this every night at home and take it with me on longer trips.
But for shorter trips, I do prefer the more compact size of my 2nd choice sleep mask (which is next on this list!).
12. Mulberry Silk Sleep Mask

While the DROWSY sleep mask is my all-time favorite, this silk sleep mask is a close second and has a smaller footprint for travelers. For shorter trips, this is the mask I throw in my backpack for the plane or my hotel room.
13. Luxurious Cloud Socks for Sleep

These might be the softest socks I’ve ever owned. When you’re on a long flight and trying to get some shut-eye, these super cozy Cloud Socks will keep your feet comfy and warm. They make a thoughtful and handy gift for any traveler.
14. Happyluxe Travel Shawl Wrap

This dual-purpose travel scarf and airplane blanket isn’t just any old cover-up. It’s a super soft, ridiculously cozy blanket great for long airplane journeys. Plus it has UPF 50+ protection for hot sunny days. It’s also a stylish addition to any travel outfit.
The travel shawl packs neatly into any bag, folding down to a compact 8.5×5.5×2 inches, and it comes in 10 different colors. I have the basic black version because it goes with everything.
15. La Chatelaine Hand Cream Trio Tin

The family-owned La Chatelaine brand has developed a bit of a cult following after launching to fame on Oprah’s Favorite Things List in 2018 and 2019. These rich, moisturizing hand creams are perfect for long flights and dry hotel rooms.
The tins are available in multiple styles and colors, the lotions are made using organic ingredients, and this set contains Gardenia or Coconut Milk, Orange Blossom, Oud Rose scents.
During the Trip 🌏🧳
Once the adventure begins, the right gear can make all the difference. These picks will help your favorite traveler stay organized, cozy, and ready for whatever the road brings.
16. Apple AirTags or Samsung SmartTags

Let me be clear…I do NOT check bags. Like ever. But if I did, you can bet I would always have an Air Tag inside my checked bag. Nothing says peace of mind like knowing where your luggage is at all times.
These tiny gadgets keep tabs on personal items so travelers can track their belongings through the “Find My” app. Both practical and stylish, they slip seamlessly into any traveler’s arsenal and are sure to earn you a heartfelt ‘thank you.’
Though I don’t check bags, I do keep one in my purse and one in my backpack at all times. We’ve also used them on the kiddos during family trips in crowded places.
Apple enthusiasts will, of course, prefer Apple AirTags. But as Android people, my husband and I have the Samsung SmartTags (with the multi-colored Protective Anti-slip Soft Silicone Cases pictured here, they come in a 4-pack).
Whichever phone brand your favorite traveler prefers, Airtags are a thoughtful gift for the traveler who hates losing things. Make lost luggage a thing of the past!
17. WETCAT Turkish Beach Towel

One of the things I never used to travel with was a beach towel. It was just too much of a pain to fit into my small suitcase. I would always buy a cheap one on the road somewhere when I needed it and then leave it behind.
I mean who wants beach sand in their luggage when island-hopping around Greece?

But I recently discovered Turkish beach towels and the WETCAT brand is my favorite. Made from 100% Turkish cotton they dry super fast and take up minimal space in my suitcase. When folded, it isn’t much bigger than a paperback and they come in dozens of colorful designs.
If you have a lot of sunny beach destinations on your Travel Bucket List, this is a great buy. It also doubles as a beach blanket or a scarf on a chilly flight.
18. Numoya Go Brush Pro

I have long hair and keeping it under control when I travel has always been a struggle. And then I discovered the brilliant Numoya Go Brush.
This handy heated styling brush is compact, lightweight, cordless, and rechargeable, so it’s easy to throw in my purse or backpack. It’s perfect for refreshing my hair after a long flight or a day at the beach.
It’s also ideal for international travel since it recharges via USB and doesn’t need a separate charger and adapter.
19. EPICKA All-in-One Universal Travel Power Adapter

When it comes to travel adapters, I’m not a fan of the kind with multiple moving parts that can easily get lost leaving you unable to plug in on an entire continent. Instead, I prefer a simple, all-in-one adapter like the Epicka.
Not only does it work in more than 150 countries, but it also has 4 very handy USB ports on the side which make it exceptionally functional for charging my phone, laptop, and iPad all at the same time. I also love the convenient case that keeps it safe in my suitcase.
20. JISULIFE Handheld Fan Pro

I never considered traveling with a handheld fan because everyone I’d ever tried just didn’t really work. And then I found this one. While it’s a tad bit heavy, this little fan puts out some serious air for up to 15 hours.
Whether you’re standing in a long line at Disney World or wandering the sweltering streets of Bangkok, this travel fan is worth its weight in gold. I can also tell you from personal experience that it will stand up on its own on a bedside table if you’re in a hotel room without air conditioning.
It has multiple speeds and includes the USB A to USB C cable, so you can charge it easily with a regular USB socket, laptop, power bank, or car charger (no additional charger required).
21. Waterproof Wet Bag for Swimsuit

Trying to catch one last swim in the ocean before your flight home? This waterproof wet bag is a great addition to the frequent traveler’s arsenal.
It comes in 20+ cute designs and colors but I love the one I have in teal with the sea turtle.
22. I Haven’t Been Everywhere – Travel Cosmetic Bag

This gift for travelers is an easy win. It’s inexpensive, multi-functional, and sure to make your favorite traveler smile.
Made of a waterproof material and linen, this cute travel makeup bag is one of my favorite things in my suitcase. It’s large enough to hold makeup, brushes, wipes, and more. The quote, “I haven’t been everywhere but it’s on my list” makes me smile every time I pull it out of my suitcase.
Because I say that all the time!
23. 12-Pack Soy Wax Candles for Travel

These tiny, travel-friendly scented candles are a fun way to make a hotel room or vacation rental smell a little more like home. They’re easy to pack and come in a variety of pretty designs and a range of scents. I almost always have one of these in my suitcase.
They’re small enough that they won’t set off a hotel smoke detector (that would be bad!) and come with a handy cover for extinguishing the flame and safe packing.
24. MyoStorm Heating Vibrating Massage Ball Roller

I discovered the MyoStorm on an episode of Shark Tank several years ago. But the older I get, the more I love throwing this terrific little massage ball in my suitcase when I travel.
Whether it’s a long flight or a rigorous hike, sometimes you just need a little pain relief on the road. The MyoStorm has 4 levels of therapeutic high vibration intensity for muscle relief. But, to me, it’s the optional heat setting that takes this travel friendly device to the next level.
I have the full size MyoStorm and it fits fine in my suitcase. But there’s also a newer MyoStorm Mini Meteor that is even more travel friendly (and slightly less expensive at $148).
25. HYDAWAY Collapsible Water Bottle

I have a love/hate relationship with travel water bottles. I love the convenience of having one with me on the road. But I hate lugging it around for an entire trip. This collapsible water bottle by HDYAWAY is the best compromise I’ve found.
Pros: It packs up super tiny and holds 17oz of water or other beverages. It really it water tight and it’s pretty easy to clean.
Cons: The first few times I used it, the water had a slightly rubbery taste. But I finally solved that by washing it a few times with hot water and baking soda.
Overall, I think the HYDAWAY water bottle is the best option for an easily packable hydration solution.
