On the best stretch of white sand along Hawaii’s most famous beach sits the towering Sheraton Waikiki, my favorite place to stay on the island of Oahu.
Known for the sweeping views from 80% of its 1,702 rooms and 150 suites, the hotel is a dominant fixture in the Waikiki skyline.
Imagine a postcard-perfect view of Waikiki in your mind and the chances are you’re thinking of the view from the Sheraton.
The Sheraton Waikiki’s best feature? An adults-only infinity pool called “The Edge” which melts seamlessly into the glittering, turquoise waters of the Pacific.
On the opposite side of the building, a kid’s pool I heard referred to (by a kid in the elevator) as “Hawaiian Disneyland.” This kiddo paradise is cleverly and blessedly separated from the adult crowd keeping all guests in perfect harmony.
On the 30th floor, the Sheraton Waikiki has capitalized on its premier real estate with the Leahi Club Lounge. It’s the ultimate “room with a view” in Waikiki.
Year after year, these beautiful views keep me coming back to this Hawaiian gem again and again.
