Photo of the Day – Lovers Beach Cabo San Lucas

Located at Land’s End on the southern tip of the Baja peninsula, Lovers Beach Cabo San Lucas is not just visually stunning, it’s one of a kind. With the Sea of Cortez on one side and the Pacific Ocean on the other, it’s the only beach in the world facing two bodies of water. If you’re lucky enough to visit Cabo between the months of December and March, you’ll likely be treated to a show as gray whales pass by just offshore on their annual Pacific migration. There are a variety of whale-watching tours available if you take a stroll through Cabo’s marina – from large boats for big groups to fishermen with small boats (I say the smaller the better for a true up-close experience). Cabo San Lucas is one of Mexico’s most beautiful destinations and a wintertime favorite of mine. A visit during whale season is truly a spectacular experience.

    Hi there
I was wondering if you’ll let me borrow the Lover’s Beach, Cabo image for a South African magazine. Unfortunately can’t offer you compensation but will certainly credit you as photographer.
    Please let me know.
