Ahhh….Europe, how I miss thee. It seems like ages since I’ve walked the tree-lined streets of Paris, cruised the canals of Holland or danced til dawn at a Greek Islands disco. Truth be told, it’s really just been a a little over a year but, if the airfare gods allowed, I would visit Europe three or four times a year. Now that the peak summer travel season is behind us, I keep hoping for a good fall fare sale across the pond but so far, no luck. It seems Delta and I have vastly differing opinions on what constitutes a “sale” fare. I’d love to head over to Paris, Rome or maybe Prague for a few days in November between games but for now it looks like I’ll have to settle for less “international” mid-week destinations to get a few miles…like, say, Hawaii.

I'm Jenny McIver, career girl, globetrotter. On New Year's Day, 2005, a newspaper article about a man who took a trip around the world sparked a wanderlust in me that has yet to abate. I spent the following year planning my own trip-of-a-lifetime and have since made it into an annual, month-long adventure visiting and writing about more than 130 countries on all 7 continents along the way - all while maintaining a full-time career. Today, my goal is to be that spark of inspiration for others by proving that you can fulfill your wildest travel dreams without quitting your day job.
