Well, it may not be the most exotic destination…but nevertheless, it’s where I am today! The summer of fun has come to a close and it’s time to start financing that next round-the-world trip in January. For the next 4 months, I’ll be back to work for ESPN (for those who don’t know, I’m an Operations Producer). College football kicks off this Saturday and each weekend I’ll be in a different college town, mostly in the Big 10 Conference working on the ESPN2 noon game. Though not always the most glamorous cities, college towns across the U.S. have their own unique charm and are often loads of fun…especially on crisp, sunny weekends in the fall. So here’s to another great season of college football, may the best team (preferably my team…Go Noles!) win!!

I'm Jenny McIver, career girl, globetrotter. On New Year's Day, 2005, a newspaper article about a man who took a trip around the world sparked a wanderlust in me that has yet to abate. I spent the following year planning my own trip-of-a-lifetime and have since made it into an annual, month-long adventure visiting and writing about more than 130 countries on all 7 continents along the way - all while maintaining a full-time career. Today, my goal is to be that spark of inspiration for others by proving that you can fulfill your wildest travel dreams without quitting your day job.
