Well, football season is finally over for me and now it’s time for a couple of months of travel strictly for fun! Since my season ended with a bowl game in San Francisco over the weekend, I decided what better way to kick things off than with a drive down the famed Pacific Coast Highway. Considered one of the world’s most scenic drives, the PCH hugs the California coastline from San Francisco to Los Angeles passing such beautiful spots as Monterey, Big Sur and Santa Barbara, to name just a few. After spending a fantastic day exploring San Francisco yesterday, today I’ll begin the drive down to LA – stopping for a few nights along the way. It’s a trip I’ve always wanted to do and there seemed like no better time than the New Year to start checking a few items off the travel bucket list!
