Aker Brygge (Oslo Harbor)
Situated on the Oslo Fjord, Oslo’s picturesque harbor area is one of its best attractions. Known as Aker Brygge; the Nobel Peace Center, the Town Hall and the medieval castle of Akershus are all located near the harbor. The hilltop castle (where this picture was taken) offers a perfect view of the vast harbor below. The waterfront is lined with shops and restaurants but don’t forget your wallet because Norway’s pristine capital tops the list of the world’s most expensive cities.
