Round the World in 30 Days

Seeing the World – One Month at a Time

Photo of the Day – Psarou Beach, Mykonos

Psarou Beach, Mykonos

Mykonos is known for its world-class beaches and in the past two days we’ve spent some quality time on a few of them.  Yesterday, Platis Gialos and today Psarou.  They are both easily reachable from the main town of Chora – where we’re staying – by the efficient local bus system.

Psarou is a secluded, sandy cove surrounded by rocky cliffs and a few of the island’s best resorts.  As you make the hike down a winding path to the beach, yachts glide in and out of the crystalline waters in the distance.  We spent a relaxing afternoon soaking in the Greek sunshine and enjoying our last full day in Mykonos.  One more night of dancing til dawn before a full travel day on Monday to get to Montenegro (with connecting flights in Athens and Belgrade).  Tomorrow, we hit the road again!
